Limit: 8 guests / $40 per person; register in advance (link above)

The Faerie Circle of Stories is a ceremonial space led by Guild Artisan Robyn Bellospirito from The Mystic Robin.

Robyn will combine faerie cards, reflection, intuitive writing, and sharing to re-imagine the stories we tell ourselves. Soft music played on hardpan and chimes will accompany the writing portion of the event. The purpose is to create narratives that heal and empower (no writing experience required). Bring an open heart, a notebook to write in, a blanket or yoga mat to sit on, and an optional pillow for your comfort. In this safe and sacred space you will be able to share your healing story with others, though sharing is optional. Please know that the space led by Robyn is a spiritual space, not a support group. Afterward, we will open the Circle to refreshments and fellowship.

Stay tuned for more on Robyn and her offerings that include guided meditation & sound healing to handpan, Native American-style flutes, and lyre harp. An animist and experienced Shamanic practitioner since 2006, Robyn is a published author, artist, and Kulning singer. For more on Robyn, read her Guild Profile (below).

ANNUAL ALL HALLOWS' EVE AT THE MANSION: OPEN  STUDIO

A safe stop for trick or treaters.

Gather ‘round the cauldron with the Hilda’s for a bit of fun & learn more about the Legend of the Northport Norseman. Till this day, the mansion is haunted by a Norseman that is protected by the Hildas, decedents of Hild, a Valkyrie who conveyed fallen warriors to Valhalla. Perhaps you’ll see the Norseman lurking the Mansion Halls as he waits for his ship to return.

Feel free to dress up as your favorite Spirit, Norse God, Witch or Warlock!

Faeriessance Guild

Guild members--artists and creatives--lead workshops with additional opportunities to display and sell their wares on Guild Marketplace days.

Are you a faery artist or creative interested in leading a master class? Please get in touch to meet with the Guild for a portfolio review.

GUILD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Featured Artist Jennifer "Jenn" Brack

Jennifer (Jenn) Brack is a nature-art enthusiast, experienced graphic artist, and holds a BA in Visual Communication, SUNY Farmingdale.

After two First Place blue-ribbon victories at the Sands Point Preserve Fairy House Competition (2023 & ‘24), Jenn now shares the rewarding experience of creating immersive art with naturally foraged materials. She continues the builder path with “how to” workshops at Faeriessance and sells her wares at the Guild Marketplace.

Jenn is an animal lover, music nerd, dancer, and devoted Trekkie, and we refer to her as our resident "faery forager" with an eye to find that one great “find” that others may overlook on their nature walks.

GUILD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Featured Artist Robyn Bellospirito

Robyn’s Message from the Treehouse:

I am an artist, animist and shamanic practitioner.

My most recent exhibit—Beyond Words: Healing with the Arts After Stroke at the Huntington Public Library—reflects my journey to share my experience and encourage other survivors.

Aside from painting, I make spirit dolls which I call "I Love Me" dolls for people to find comfort (they are made in sacred space with the guidance of my helping spirits who tell me which materials to use).

Shamanism has been my path since it knocked on my door (literally) in 2006 and I’ve written several articles about my shamanic practice for Sacred Hoop Magazine in the UK. I have loved and felt a kinship with elves and the Fae since I was a child and always wished I had been born with pointy ears.

Music is also a huge part of my life, and I play native American-style flutes, handpan, lyre, a small steel drum, hand drums and percussion, and others. I also sing and use my voice in my spiritual work.

For many years my professional practice has included reading tarot and oracle cards, and I have designed two decks.

As part of my spiritual practice, I have studied the runes and worked with the Norse form of shamanism of staff and song.  In addition, I'm a huge animal lover and nature lover and going on nature walks to listen for guidance is part of my practice.

As for next steps, I enjoy performance art and wear my custom-designed costumes and dance as a form of prayer going out to all who experience the performance (I would love to get back to this one day).

Robyn Bellospirito of The Mystic Robin's Treehouse, Huntington NY

To further explain the session to first-time participants, Bellospirito adds:

This Faery Circle of Stories is a coming together for a purpose: to find/be guided to our healing stories which will be very unique and individual for each person. Since we are asking for guidance, spiritually speaking, it is a good practice to set up a sacred or ceremonial space which I will guide us through. It is calling to higher powers/energies for protection and guidance as we do our work. Over the years many people who were new to this have told me they felt a palpable difference... a comfort and safety after sacred space was called.

To enhance this special haven, I use juniper as one of my sacred herbs, based on one of my spiritual paths from Siberia (my ancestry).
